Privacy Policy
This is a placeholder draft for a pre-launch waitlist. Replace with the output of Termly's generator before going live. The substance below reflects what the site actually does, so it is defensible as-is for a pre-launch period.
1. Who we are
signature is a pre-launch product operated by Jennie Dobronovsky (hello@getsignature.video). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
2. What we collect
- Email address — when you join the beta.
- Application answers — if you complete the optional 5-question beta application: what you create, how often, how long edits take, your follower count, and a free-text answer about editing pain.
- Technical metadata — a SHA-256 hash of your IP address (not the raw IP), your browser user-agent string, and the timestamp of submission. We use these to detect abuse and bot signups, never to identify you personally.
- Consent record — the timestamp and policy version at which you opted in.
3. Why we collect it
- To notify you when beta access opens.
- To select the first cohort based on your answers.
- To analyze aggregate demand (signup count, drop-off rate by question) for product decisions and investor conversations.
- To detect and prevent fraudulent signups.
4. Lawful basis
Under EU GDPR, our lawful basis is consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — given by your active submission of the form after seeing the consent notice on the page. Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, you have consented under Section 1 of the Information Notice obligation. Under CCPA, you have provided notice-at-collection consent.
5. Where it's stored
Your data is stored in Cloudflare D1, a managed SQLite database operated by Cloudflare, Inc. Cloudflare maintains SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and ISO 27018 certifications and applies appropriate technical and organizational measures.
6. Who we share it with
No one. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Cloudflare acts as our data processor under their standard data processing addendum.
7. How long we keep it
Until 12 months after the public launch of signature, after which all waitlist data is deleted. If you ask to be deleted earlier, we delete immediately on receipt of your request.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — email us and we'll send you a copy.
- Correct any inaccurate data — email us.
- Delete your data — email delete@getsignature.video and we'll remove it within 30 days (typically same day).
- Port your data — we'll provide it as a JSON file.
- Withdraw consent at any time, with no effect on the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (e.g., Israeli Privacy Protection Authority, EU national DPAs, California Privacy Protection Agency).
9. International transfers
Cloudflare's network is global. Your data may be processed at edge locations outside your country of residence. Cloudflare relies on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards for transfers out of the EEA, UK, and Israel.
10. Cookies and tracking
This site does not use tracking cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is a privacy-preserving analytics service that does not set cookies or fingerprint visitors. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
11. Children
signature is not intended for users under 16. Do not submit a signup form if you are under 16. If we learn we have collected data from a child, we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
Material changes will be reflected in the version number at the top of this page. Existing waitlist members will be re-prompted for consent if changes are material under GDPR Article 7(3).
